mississippi campus. they ask all students not on the campus to stay away from the university. the twister was par -- part of a string of severe storms. more than a dozen people are hurt because of it. back here in anne arundel county three people are recovering after an airport shuttle bus crashes into a pole. it happened yesterday near the airport. investigators say the bus took the corner too sharply and ran into a pole, one that supports the power lines for the right rail system. two people were taken to the hospital. a third person refused medical treatment. speaking of the airport there could be another way to pass the time while waiting for a flight. wjz and mike schuh is live with what a maryland lawmaker is proposing. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. the idea is to put the slots on the other side of security and have all those out of state passengers pay for maryland bills.

million reward is offered for christopher dorner, the ex-lapd officer . >> for the first time since the murders started in southern california a reward is being offered for the capture of christopher dorner. >> this group led by my office is posting a reward of $1 million for information that will lead to mr. dorner's capture. >> the former lapd officer murdered three people in revenge for being fired in 2008. dorner claims he was fired for reporting a fellow officer for excessive force. charlie back told kcbs he reopened the information and will -- investigation and will talk to him. in big

bear california police scaled back the search for him in the snow. the last clue they have is from thursday. the search has shifted to rely on information found into the investigation of dorner. >> help us to find dorner before he's able to kill again. >> dorner's victims are now being remembered. a moment of violence at the cal state women's basketball game because monica quan should have been on the bench as an assistant coach. >> she had a wonderful smile. >> police say dorner murdered quan and her fiance a week ago starting his revenge killings. >> quan is the daughter of a retired police captain who represented dorner in the disciplinary hearing that led to his firing. in chicago two people are in custody in connection with the murder of an honor student who sang with her school at the presidential inauguration.

she was shot and killed two weeks ago. the shooting happened at a park in chicago known for gang activity. police say she was not the intended target. investigators are questioning two persons of interest in that case. the family of the late joe paterno, the former head football coach at penn state university said the school rushed to judgement in the jerry sandusky case. they call its conclusions incorrect and speculative. paterno's family maintains he was not aware that sandusky had been sexually abusing young boys. paterno was fired after that report was released. he died from cancer last year. this morning a republican senator on capitol hill is pledging to hold up the confirmation of two of the president's appointees until he gets more answers about the terrorist attack on the u.s. consulate in libya. >> you're about to make news. you are saying that

you are going to block the nominations you're going to block them from coming to a vote until you get an answer to this. >> on cbs's face the nation sunday senator lindsay graham acknowledged he would use a rule that allows a senator to put a hold on presidential nominees. the south carolina republican hopes that by delaying the confirmations of chuck hagel and john brennan he can force the white house to answer questions about how much president obama knew about the attack in benghazi. >> i want to know what our president did. did he pick up the phone and call anybody? i think this is stuff the country needs to know. >> four americans including ambassador chris stevens were killed on the attack. republicans have accused the administration of misleading the public about the attack. >> the white house has been stone walling the congress. i'm going to do everything i can to get to the bottom of this and

our movie doesn't start until 15 years later. that -- they are a little angry and seek revenge on the witches that try to harm children. it goes to different fairy tale lands. it's a lot of good fun. >> but if the fairy tale was scary, what you produced is even scarier? >> it seems scary. is it scary? >> yeah, i mean, there are some scary elements. i mean it's r rated. we could really crank it up a notch. it's gorry and there's an element that keeps it from being a horror. it's not -- you wouldn't take you kids to see it. >> as parents might when they hear hansel and gretel, which is a great idea puts witch hunters after it. >> yeah.
